Registration and Logistical Information


[Conference attendees should check to see if their home countries require visas to visit Japan (U.S. citizens do not need a visa to visit Japan). Guide to Japanese Visas (Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan can be seen here.]


Directions to Conference Venues: All panels and keynote presentations will be scheduled at Keio University Mita Campus (not to be confused with Keio University Shiba-Kyoritsu Campus, which is also around the area), located at 2-15-45 Mita, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan. Access to the campus from major stations and airports can be seen here.


Payment: To make your registration payment ($200), please click the 'Get Ticket' button on the right.


Banquet: Those who wish to attend the banquet dinner on Saturday, June 27th, please click the 'Get Ticket' button on the right and pay the $80 charge per person.


Accommodations: A block of rooms has been set up at the Celestine Hotel, which is walking distance from Keio University, and 3 types of rooms are available at special rates:


Single 12800 yen (w/breakfast 14400 yen) approx. $108 / $122

Superior Double 14800yen (w/breakfast 16400 yen) approx. $125 / $139

Deluxe Double 16800 yen (w/breakfast 18400 yen) approx. $142 / $156

(additional person charge 2000 yen / $17 each)

Excursions:

Sunday, June 28th: Half a day tour to major sightseeing spots in Tokyo (Asakusa, Akihabara, etc.) guided by graduate students. Please register by clicking the 'Get Ticket' button on the right. The tour itself is free of charge, but transportation is to be paid for individually.


Monday, June 29th: One day guided bus tour to Kamakura and Yokosuka. We'll visit some famous Zen temples and M. C. Perry Museum, and enjoy a traditional Japanese meal. Please register and pay ($150) from the 'Get Ticket' button on the right. Transportation, lunch, and admission fees are included in the price of the tour.
