Other Sounds is proud to present psychedelic wig-outs Tonstartssbandht in Singapore this December!

Tonstartssbandht (pronounced tahn-starts-bandit) are Andy and Edwin White, two Floridian brothers now living in Brooklyn, NY. Andy, for some, is better known as Mac DeMarco’s new guitarist or his solo project Andy Boay, while Edwin for his solo project Eola.

Their music explores a deep love for boogie, '60s psychedelic-rock, and choral pop, and they navigate their souls and psyches on stage, embracing the sense of urgency, pain, and ecstasy in the human experience, Andy on his 12-string Danelectro and Edwin driving percussion.

Together, their music explores a deep love for boogie, '60s psychedelic-rock, and choral pop, and the sound of the guitar/drum duo grows massively in a live setting with heavy riffing on Andy's 12-string Danelectro, Edwin's driving and relentless percussion, and the brothers' combined angelic vocal harmonies. They navigate their souls and psyches on stage, embracing the sense of urgency, pain, and ecstasy in the human experience.

This vibe has brought the band repeatedly throughout Russia, Europe, and North America, and will finally see them hit Asia as part of the Large Baby Tour!

Tonstartssbandht will be supported by one of the White brothers' solo projects EOLA. Melting melodies, improvised overdubs, intense vocal chants, pitch-shifted drum machine rhythms, fuzzy organ jams – the solo project of the elder Tonstartartssbandht brother Edwin has it all and will have you completely mesmerized in its hypnotic vocal-pop glory.

The best way to experience Tonstartssbandht isn't by clicking around their various releases - it's to hear what the two brothers create in a live setting.- Pitchfork

Their telepathic sibling jam instincts turned the packed room into a shaking jello mold of sweaty flesh- Noisey
