ABOUT VERVE

Verve is an emerging arts festival for and by the young and young at heart. It is a festival entirely conceptualised and organised annually by Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s Arts Business Management students.

Verve continuously presents new ways of experiencing the whole spectrum of local artistic works by allowing audiences to pick and choose their own arts itinerary for a day.

Expect a showcase of Singaporean art from emerging and established artists of various genres in an explosion of music, theatre and dance performances, as well as literary and visual arts.

All proceeds from the festival will go to The Business Times Budding Artists Fund to support the underprivileged children at The Little Arts Academy.

THEME: The Best Of Times

Inspired by the iconic literary quote from A Tale of Two Cities, this year’s theme can be interpreted in various ways through diverse mediums such as showcasing the most significant moments of the artist’s life, the world or Singapore.
