Composer, guitarist, vocalist, an improvisor - a gifted and passionate Japanese performer SAIGENJI is coming back to the Lion City after 7 years since his magnificent performance at Blu Jaz Cafe and Mosaic Music Festival back in 2007. He has wowed many fans and audiences in his previous visits, and for this come-back tour he will be sharing his music in with local Soul/Jazz/hiphop outfit L.A.B. (Listen And Believe) at Blu Jaz Cafe as well as a one-man show at KIZUKI+LIM at Raffles Hotel Arcade - plus a very special workshop - you are in for a treat, and you sure do not want to miss none of this special 3 Days.

Local soul/hiphop/jazz group L.A.B (Listen And Believe) consisted of Michaela Therese (vocal) Aya Sekine (keyboards) Tim De Cotta (bass/vocal) Teo Jia Rong(drums) has invited Saigenji to their home-base, Blu Jaz Cafe for a date. They will each play their music, and at some point they will crossover and collaborate. It will be a night of Soul, Bossa, Samba, Jazz, Hiphop, Rap in different languages, lots of laughter and friendship through music. About SAIGENJI :
One of the most celebrated Japanese guitarist, voice performer and a composer, a recording artist - of 8 full length album, Saigenji picked up the South American pan flute and the music of the Andes when he was only nine. He has a distinctive style as a guitarist, with influences comes from Folklore of Central America, Brazilian Music, Soul Music and Jazz which makes him ultimately unique with his own Japanese roots. Saigenji doesn't stop bewitching the audience all around the world with his magical touch on the guitar and soulful voice.
Since his release of debut album SAIGENJI (Happiness Record) in 2012, he has wowed audiences in Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Korea, Europe and Brazil with his performances and albums. As far as Japan is concerned he has been collaborating with impressive line-up of artists such as MISIA, Mondo Grosso, Tomita-Lab, Fantastic Plastic Machine, Miki Imai, Ann Sally, Ken Hirai as artist, composer and producer.
