Panelists:

Justin Choo

Chief Executive Officer, Knorex

Justin is in charge of the daily operations in Knorex, in which he oversees the overall strategic business and technical directions. Prior to Knorex, Justin was a researcher at the Data Mining Department of the Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R), A*STAR, where he pursued his Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from the Department of Chemistry, National University of Singapore (NUS). He has experience in bootstrapping and formulating business strategies for a financial software startup to achieve profitability.


Shehryar Ali Shah

Head of R&D, DBS Innovation Group and Co-director DBS I2R Joint Lab, DBS Bank

Shehryar has years of experience in the banking industry which he gathered from working in Citibank, ABN AMRO and Credit Agricole. A father of two girls and a boy, Shehryar has lived and worked in Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Pakistan, India, US, Philippine, Netherlands, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. He started out with Shell and entered the banking industry through brief stints in Academia and Government. He helped run a family-owned bank in Pakistan before returning to Singapore in 2010.


Ng Kek Wee

Chief Technology Officer, GNosis Analytics

Dr. Ng holds a Ph.D. in Services Oriented Architecture (SOA). His first start-up was distinguished as 'The Best Services Oriented Architecture' consulting firm out of 15 countries in East Asia (incl. China) according to both Oracle and IBM and was acquired by China's biggest outsourcing company Pactera Technology Inc. Dr. Ng also led Savvis from just a typical hosting company to become the largest Cloud company for big business, which they were acquired for $3.2 billion by Century Link.
