2011年にスタートし今年で4年目を迎える Innovation Weekend は、今シーズンより「World Tour」と称し、Singapore (May), Tokyo (June), London (July), Boston (Sep), Tokyo (Oct) と開催し、12月開催のInnovation Weekend Grand Finale で各都市の優勝・準優勝チームがTokyoに集うという、大きな挑戦をすることとなりました。
Innovation Weekend Tokyo では、Kickstarter で鮮烈なデビューをし、TechCrunch にも取り上げられ、米国でも注目を浴びた Wearable Smart Toy , Moff の高萩さんをゲストスピーカーとしてお招きし、Moff 創業に至った背景、そして、その苦労を語っていただきます！

The 'World Tour' Kicked off in Singapore on May 9th (Friday), and then Tokyo in June, London in July, Boston in September, and Tokyo again in October. In December, each event's winner will be invited to Tokyo, where the 'Innovation Weekend Grand Finale', which will determine this season's World Champion, will take place.
Guest speaker at Innovation Weekend Tokyo 2014 is Akinori Takahagi, Co-founder & CEO, Moff Inc. who made his "Global Debut" in Mobile World Congress 2014, SXSW 2014, and Kickstarter as a Wearable Smart Toy . Also, their product was covered by TechCrunch and Moff got a lot of attention in the U.S.A.

【スピーカー紹介】
高萩 昭範氏
株式会社Moff 代表取締役社長CEO
戦略系経営コンサルティング会社A. T. カーニー株式会社を経て、メルセデス・ベンツ日本株式会社商品企画部にてスポーツモデルのプロダクトマネージャーを務める。その後、独立して動画配信サービスや電子書籍関連サービスの立ち上げに関わる。2013年10月「コンピューターに人間が合わせていた世界から、コンピューターが人間に合わせる世界に変える」ためのヒューマンインターフェースデバイスおよびサービスを企画・開発・販売する株式会社Moffを共同創業。その後、2014年2月にモバイルサービスにおける世界最大の展示会 Mobile World Congress（バルセロナ）で欧州へ、3月に世界最大級の総合イベント SXSW 2014 (テキサス州オースティン)で全米へ進出。同月には、Kickstarterで開始後約1カ月で目標の2万ドルの約4倍となる8万ドルを集め、米国TechCrunchなどでも取り上げられる。今、最も勢いのあるウェアラブル・スタートアップのCEOとして活躍中。
