ご挨拶

NHKは、株式会社デジタルガレージの協力のもと2012年3月18日（日）に東京・恵比寿で「TED meets NHKスーパープレゼンテーション」を開催します。

これは、アメリカで注目を集めるイベントTEDの映像をもとにした新番組「スーパープレゼンテーション」がNHKEテレで4月から放送開始するのに先立ち、番組ナビゲーターをつとめる伊藤穣一氏、脳科学者で今年のTEDで日本人で初めてTEDトークを行った茂木健一郎氏らの参加により、TEDとその日本での広がりについて意見交換を行うものです。

TEDに関心を寄せるあらゆる方々のご参加を心よりお待ちしています。

  ジョージア大学でジャーナリズムを修め、マギル大学で国際経済のMBAを取得。大手メディアから創業支援まで多くの経営に携わる。マーケティングや事業開発、ソーシャルメディア、デジタルコンテンツのディストリビューション、商品開発、企業のアライアンス提携などが専門。大手出版のScholasticでは事業開発の統括部長、PBSではデジタル事業開発の統括部長、ChangentsのCEOを務め、現職に就く。
  
  
• 伊藤 穰一（いとう じょういち）氏
  
  2011年4月26日にMITメディアラボ新所長に就任。デジタルガレージ共同創業者で取締役。カルチュア・コンビニエンス・クラブの社外取締役。Creative Commonsの会長。アジア、中東での新規事業育成を手がけるNeoteny Labsファンド、ジェネラル・パートナー。慶応大学大学院メディアデザイン研究科非常勤講師の他、FireFox 開発の Mozilla Foundation 、WITNESS、Global Voicesなどの非営利団体のボードメンバーも務める。エンジェル投資家として、シリコンバレー地域を中心に複数のインターネット事業への投資、事業育成にも携わり、これまでに Twitter, Six Apart, Wikia, Flickr, Last.fm, Fotonauts 等を初めとする有望ネットベンチャー企業の創業や事業展開を支援している。1997年米国TIME誌にて、「サイバーエリート」、2000年米国Business Week誌にて、「アジアの星50人」、2001年世界経済フォーラムにて、「明日のグローバルリーダー」、2008年米国Business Week誌にて、「ネット上で最も影響力のある世界の25人」に選出。2011年英オクスフォード大学インターネット研究所より、特別功労賞受賞。

• 茂木健一郎（もぎ けんいちろう）氏
  
  脳科学者。ソニーコンピュータサイエンス研究所シニアリサーチャー。1962年10月20日東京生まれ。東京大学理学部、法学部卒業後、東京大学大学院理学系研究科物理学専攻課程修了。理学博士。理化学研究所、ケンブリッジ大学を経て現職。専門は脳科学、認知科学。「クオリア」（感覚の持つ質感）をキーワードとして脳と心の関係を研究するとともに、文藝評論、美術評論などにも取り組んでいる。

世界が注目するアメリカのイベント「TEDカンファレンス」。素晴らしい未来を切り開こうとするイノベーターたちのプレゼンを通し、その驚きの発想とプレゼンの極意を英語で学ぶ。

On March 18, 2012, NHK, with the collaboration of Digital Garage Inc., will be holding a one-day event "TED meets NHK Super Presentation" in Ebisu, Tokyo. This will be a preliminary event for NHK Educational TV's new program "Super Presentation (coming in April)," which will feature the essential excerpts from the world famous TED conferences. The program moderator Joi Ito and Japanese brain scientist Ken Mogi (who spoke at the TED conference this year as the first Japanese speaker) would like to invite you to join this gathering to exchange ideas about how to expand TED's popularity in Japan. If you are interested in TED, please do not miss this opportunity!

The "Lightning Talk" is a session for the event attendees to challenge themselves to the next-level as presenters. Each attendee will be giving a five-minute presentation about himself/herself. Each presentee will have the opportunity to receive presentation comments and feedback from speakers, the TED Director of Content Distribution. If you would like to challenge yourself to become a next-level presenter, don't miss this rare opportunity!

• Deron Triff　Director, Content Distribution at TED
  
  Deron has majored in Journalism at the University of Georgia, and completed his MBA at McGil University. He is a digital media and business development professional specializing in digital content distribution, social media marketing and strategic partnerships. His executive management experiences range from major media brands to entrepreneurial startups. Deron also has served as the CEO of Changents, Vice President of Digital Ventures at PBS, and Vice President of Business Development at Scholastic.

• Joi Ito　Director, MIT Media Lab
  
  Joichi Ito is the Director of the MIT Media Lab (http://www.media.mit.edu/). He is also General Manager of Neoteny Labs, a startup fund focusing on Asia and the Middle East. He is the Chair of Creative Commons (http://www.creativecommons.org), co-founder and board member of Digital Garage JSD:4819 (http://www.garage.co.jp/), and on the boards of CCC TYO:4756 (http://www.ccc.co.jp/eng/) and Tucows AMEX:TCX (http://www.tucows.com/).   Computer Science Laboratories. Born October 20, 1962. Graduated from University of Tokyo with Bachelor's Degrees in Science and Law, and a Ph.D Degree in Science. Specializes in brain science and cognitive science.
