Speaker:

Author Pauline Loh is a winner of the First Time Writers and Illustrators Publishing Initiative 2009 award and first runner up for Scholastic Asian Book Award 2012. She has published books for adults and children. She graduated from National University of Singapore, Raffles Junior College and Singapore Chinese Girls’ School

She is also an award winning writer. Her book “The Little Red Helicopter” won the First Time Writers and Illustrators Publishing Initiative 2009 and her Young Adult fiction “The Locked Up Boy” won the first runner-up for Scholastic Asian Book Award 2012. In addition, she has written more than eight adult non-fiction books commissioned by organisations. Pauline is a stay home mother of three children aged 16, 14 and six. Besides her family and work, she is a director of non-profit organisation Women Empowered for Work and Mothering (WEWAM) and ambassador of Singapore Memory Project.
