「ダイバーシティ」がだいじと言われる昨今の世の中、世代のダイバーシティについて考えてみたことありますか？
TOKYONISTは、身の回りの「そういえば気になる」テーマをグローバルに考えるイベントです。
身の回りの「そういえば気になる」ことを、いろいろな経験・文化背景を持つ人たちで集まって考え、話してみませんか？

今回のテーマは「ジェネレーションギャップ」。
年代の異なる人に対して、ジェネレーションギャップを感じたことはありますか？
私たちはついつい「若い人の感覚は分からないね(笑)」と言いがちで、若い人は「年上の人とは対等に話せない」と思い込みがちなような気がします。
でも、自分より若い人たちや、年上の人たちと積極的に関わるようになったら、もっと見える世界が広がるかも。
異なる年代の人をつなぐ活動をされている木下紫乃さんは、「年の離れた友人は、人生をより豊かにしてくれる」と言っています。ご自身のご経験やお仕事から、「年齢のダイバーシティ」の素晴らしさや、その可能性の大きさについてアイデアをたくさん持っています。
今回は紫乃さんと一緒に、「年齢・年代」に対する私たちの感覚について考えるセッションです。
「ジェネレーションギャップ」について改めて考え、異なる年代の人の考え方が、いかに面白いか体験してみましょう！

木下紫乃さん
株式会社ヒキダシCHO（Chief HIKIDASHI officer）
新卒でリクルート入社。その後数社転職後、人材育成会社で人材育成、企業研修開発に携わる。
2014年45歳で 慶應メディアデザイン研究科（大学院）に入り2年間20代の若者と学ぶ。
現在は昭和女子ダイバーシティ推進機構にて企業の女性活躍支援、ダイバーシティ推進に携わりながら2016年 ㈱ヒキダシを設立し中高年のキャリアサポートを目指す。
TOKYONISTとは?
TOKYONISTとは、身の回りの様々なテーマ（暮らし・IT・芸術・仕事・社会…）ついて考えや思ったことを話し合うイベントです。毎回テーマを決め、そのテーマで活躍する方をゲストにお迎えします。様々なバックグラウンドを持つ人が集まり、多様な意見を楽しめる場所です。

東京のITスタートアップ勤務。
20歳になり下宿先に投票用紙が届いたときに、どうしていいか全く意見のない自分にショックを受ける。その後、大学で英語ディベートにのめり込むうちに「答えの出しづらい問題を、多面的に考える」ことの面白さと大切さを実感。そのような教育を受ける機会がもっとあれば良かったと色々と調べるうちに、イギリスのCitizenship Educationの存在を知り、それを学ぶために会社を辞めて留学。UCL Institute of Education (MA Social Justice and Education) 修了。
帰国後、学校現場でディベート、ディスカッションプログラムを提供するなど活動中。誰にでも参加してもらえる場を作りたいという思いでTOKYONISTの活動をスタート。

Have you ever felt that you had the gap between younger or elder age people?
In Japan, we tend to say "I'm no longer young, so I can't understand them (young people)." On the other hand, young people tend to think "We can't be equal with older people."
Ms. Shino Kinoshita, who works passionately to bridge the gap between the people far apart in age, believes it would make our life nicer to have friends not in the same generation.
This time, we'll welcome Shino and take a time to think about our sense of age.
Let's think about the feeling "generation gap" and experience how age diversity brings different points of view to you!

Shino Kinoshita
CHO of HIKIDASHI k.k. (Chief HIKIDASHI Officer)
Shino started her career at Recruit Holdings, then she experienced several companies and engaged creation of HR development and corporate training programmes in an HR development company.
In 2014, when she was 45 years old, she enrolled in Keio Media Design graduate school and studied with the colleague in their twenties.
Now she participates in the programme that encourage working women and diversity promotion at Showa Women's University diversity promotion organisation.
She founded HIKIDASHI k.k. in 2016 and works energetically for career support of middle aged people.
※Hikidashi means bringing out people's potential, motivation or confidence and encouraging us to take a new step.

TOKYONIST is the group talk about things around our life and society (life, technology, art, work, culture…).
Every time, we set a theme and welcome a guest who’s passionate about the theme. Take a fun time to think and share the ideas about the theme.

Working for an IT startup in Tokyo.
When I was 20 years old, and got the voting ticket for the first time in my life, I found I didn't have any opinion on my society and being shocked about this. After that, I joined debating society and found the importance of discussing controversial issues in various viewpoints.
I kept thinking it would be better to have the opportunity to think about society and controversial issues in school days, and found "citizenship education" curriculum in the UK, then I went to study citizenship education in the UK (UCL Institute of Education / MA Social Justice and Education).
After finishing the programme, I started to provide discussion and debate programme for high schools. This time, I'm going to make a community that welcomes every person and start TOKYONIST group.
