#bigsunitedbhm

Join the Bigs United African American affinity group as we bring together a community panel to discuss how multiple institutions, industries and influencers factor into a child’s success in life. Our focus will be on what level of involvement of the Black community has in the raising of our youth and how that plays into their development. We will take a solutions-focused approach with the idea that, with the African American child in the center, collaboration can empower the next generation. A networking hour will precede with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres provided. Let’s get together and start something.

Join Bigs United African-American affinity group as we bring together a panel of thought leaders and activists to discuss how multiple institutions, industries and influencers factor into a child’s success in life. Our focus will be on what level of involvement the Black community has in the raising of our youth and how that plays into their development. We will examine if it still “takes a village to raise a child”. Our goal is to establish collaborative and actionable ways the community, with the child at the center, can begin to impact change and empower the next generation. A reception will precede with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres provided. Let’s get together and start something.
