Valerie Law was working in various financial institutions before she ventured to do an e-commerce startup with her brother. Due to different business philosophies and working habits, the venture turned out badly. As the older child and main breadwinner for her family, the 'failure' lead to guilt and a period of depression.

In her darkest days, she somehow re-discovered three gems that are worth more than any money could buy. Using her investment experiences throughout her career, she is now on a mission to empower 1,000 women/girls in terms of financial literacy.
