Music Hackdayとは、 アーティスト、デザイナー、プログラマー、デベロッパーが一斉に集い、音楽の未来を24時間で創造する、世界13カ国、20都市で行われている二日間に渡るシリーズイベントです。
ソフトウェア、ハードウェア、 モバイル、ウェブ、楽器、アート、、音楽が関係していればなに作ってもアリ！まず、2月21日（金）の夜、原宿TERMINALで参加企業、参加者の顔合わせを目的としたキックオフのレセプションを予定しています。22日（土）、Hackday初日は、国内外の音楽サービスが提供するAPI（ワークショップ含む）を元に参加者は新たなサービスや作品を創造。二日目にはサービス、作品の デモンストレーション。
Music Hackdayは、音楽とテクノロジーの未来を共に考え、世界の最先端テクノロジーやトレンドを自ら体験できる、誰もが参加できる完全無料イベントです。
＊全２４時間を会場で過ごし、ハックに打ち込める環境になっていますが、一度帰宅して２日目に再参加いただいくことも可能です。

Music Hack Day is an international 24-hour event where programmers, designers and artists come together to conceptualize, build and demo the future of music. Software, hardware, mobile, web, instruments, art - anything goes as long as it’s music related.
The weekend kicks off with a kick off reception on Friday evening, where developers can come and meet each other and learn a little bit about the APIs available to them for the weekend. The first day of the hackathon consists of API workshops from global trendsetting music related technology companies followed by a 24 hour hackathon. The second day is for presentations and demonstrations of the ideas created.
Music Hackday is a free event to participate and is a great opportunity for developers and industry professionals to learn, experience, and create the future of music.
*Developers are welcome and encouraged to stay the entire 24 hours at the venue, but can also come back on Sunday (day 2 of hackathon) to participate as well.
