Whichever position you take, none would doubt that the impact of AI research on society is accelerating at a significant rate in the recent years.

This symposium invites speakers from industry and academia to exchange ideas for practical applications of AI technologies and possible future developments. This symposium is an opportunity to hold an international discourse on social impacts arising from new AI technologies.

このシンポジウムでは、国内外の産業界とアカデミアから人工知能分野のオピニオンリーダーを招いて、人工知能の最先端技術とそれがもたらす社会的インパクトについて議論します。このシンポジウムがきっかけとなり、人工知能についての理解が深まること、日本の人工知能コミュニティがより積極的に世界と接点を持つこと、また企業と研究機関の交流が深まり人工知能が社会に貢献する潮流を生み出すことを期待しています。
