Our guest speaker, Rex Chen will be showing a very cool open source, visual programming tool for arduino. Highly recommended for arduino and electronics users and enthusiast aka Geeks but everyone is still welcome too! He will also be sharing his entrepreneurial journey on starting his company from a hackerspace.

Biography

Rex Chen is the founder of STARY electric skateboard from Shanghai.The electric skateboard kickstarter project went on to raise a whooping $740,000 USD and have also succeeded in securing a 1 million SGD dollars from IDG angel investment. He is also the author of the Arduino visual programming language that is meant for.childhood learning programming. Fun fact about him. he actually wrote a virus to steal QQ at 10 years old with VB!
