ピアノ・トリオという体制を誇りとする Simon Toldam Trio は、アバンギャル ドからバラッドまで、神秘な微音から幸福感を語り叫ぶようなスウィングま でと、多様な音とリズムで、音楽に流されて自我を忘れるあの一瞬の永劫を 感じさせます。最も評価が高く多様性の高いトリオの一つで、ノルウェー人 が一人でデンマーク人が二人のトリオは北欧の一体感を感じさせます。ノル ウェーのクヌット・フィンスルッドがドラマー、デンマークのニルス・デイ ヴィッセンがベーシスト、デンマークのシモン・トルダムがピアニスト兼作 曲家です。このコンサートでトリオは新作を初披露すると共に、これまで発 売している 3 枚のアルバム(全・デンマークグラミーにノミネート)の曲を奏でます。

Embracing the classic piano trio format, Simon Toldam Trio marks those little eternities when we forget who we are, and does so with a palette of tones and rhythms that take the trio from avant-garde to ballads and from mysterious tinkling to jubilant swings. It is one of the most acclaimed and versatile trios with a cross-Scandinavian set-up with Norwegian drummer Knut Finsrud, Danish bass player Nils Davidsen and pianist/composer Simon Toldam. To this concert the trio will present brand new compositions as well as old timers from their 3 acclaimed albums - all of which have been nominated for Danish Grammy Awards.

イルジン (Illdjinn)

ソロパフォーマーのIlldjinn (本名― マッス・ピン・フォースビュー) は、 ドラムの変化力と物理的な迫力を活かし、ドラムを楽器だけではなく、トランスへの扉としても活かします。ミュジーク・コンクレート、テクノ、リチ ュアリスティック・フォークロアに影響された彼の音楽は、極めて斬新で興 味深いインプロビゼーションを生み出します。Illdjinn の生み出す実験的な空 間は世界中で好評を博しています。デビューアルバムは 2014 年に発売され、 次の作品は現在プロデュースされています。マッス・ピン・フォースビュー は、Illdjinn の他に、「Fire! Orchestra」や「Frisk Frugt」のメンバーでもあります。

In his one man performance, Illdjinn, the moniker of Mads Pind Forsby, explores the transformative and physical energy of the drum, as an instrument and a media for trance. He draws on influences from musique concrète, techno and ritualistic folklore, and this results in a very unorthodox and interesting approach to improvisation. The explorative universe of Illdjinn has been praised all over the world. The debut album was released in October 2014, and a sequel is currently produced. Mads Pind Forsby also plays in Fire! Orchestra, Frisk Frugt among others.

YARAYAWA (ヤラヤワ)

様々な関係や場所で何度も偶然会っていたことをきっかけに、音楽家達は、 彼らに共通する情熱のよりどころとなる即興音楽を追求するために、クリエ イティブな関係を築こうと決心しました。これが、デンマークと日本の実験 的なバンド・YARAYAWA の始まりです。即興音楽ならではのびっくりした り、元気付けられたり、不協和を感じたりするような斬新な響きの追求は永 遠に終わらないので、YARAYAWA はツアーの際、外部のビジョナリーと一 緒に奏でます。スーパー・デラックスのコンサートでは、本来なら4人のバ ンドがトリオになり、日本人ドラマーの千住宗臣に代わりマッス・ピン・フォースビューが加わります。

Since they kept on meeting each other in different contexts and locations the present musicians decided to start a creative relationship to explore their common passion for improvisational music with a cosmic bursting feel and spiral instrumentations. This became the start of YARAYAWA: a explorative Danish/Japanese mixed band project. The always on-going search for the surprising, uplifting and disturbing new sounds in improvised music, is one of the main reason why YARAYAWA invite new visionary people to play with them when touring. The concert in SuperDeluxe will present the band as a trio, with guest starring from Mads Pind Forsby / Ildjinn, substituting Japanese Muneomi Senju on the drums.
