The year 2014 was groundbreaking for Dr. Jason Leong as he successfully spread his brand of comedy well beyond Malaysia’s shores. After becoming the first Malaysian to win the 7th Annual International Hong Kong Comedy Festival, he then became the first Malaysian to perform a full professional set at Laugh Factory in Hollywood, USA and Gotham Comedy Club in New York. All these were against a backdrop of sold-out performances in Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Singapore and Dubai.
Jason’s public appearances include being the resident emcee of Comedy Kao Kao, a monthly comedy show which he started 2 years ago and in the Malaysian Association of Chinese Comedians (MACC) produced by Douglas Lim.
As Malaysia’s fastest rising comic, Jason will entertain audiences with clean, sharp and observational humour provided the audience is intelligent, understands English and has good hearing.
