The 3 main pillars of emotional quotient are: self-awareness, interpersonal skills, and social skills. Each of these represents skills that are valuable in the workplace: motivation, communication, and leadership. The testing process involves answering questions that will provide insight to your behavioral characteristics. The test results then break down your score in 9 areas:
- Stress tolerance
- Mental strength
- Interpersonal awareness
- Interpersonal relationships
- Social awareness
- Situational analysis
- Leadership skills
Part 1 - Understanding Your Test Results
In the first part of the course we explain the fundamentals of emotional intelligence and hand out participant test results. We'll go over each section of the test so everyone can understand how to read the results.
Part 2 - Developing an Action Plan for Self-Improvement
We split the class into groups and have participants share their test results with others and exchange advice based on their results. Based on the feedback from the group discussions, each participant will then develop their own action plan to improve the areas in which they scored low.
