Ang Kian Peng is the Director of Samsui Supplies & Services which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Soup Restaurant Group. Founded in 1991, Soup Restaurant Group Limited had its humble beginnings as a niche restaurant in Chinatown serving herbal soups and home-cooked dishes at affordable prices. Today, the Company is listed on the Mainboard of the Singapore Exchange Limited and operates a portfolio of well-known food and beverage brands. The Group currently has 19 restaurant outlets in Singapore and Malaysia, as well as franchised outlets in Indonesia.


Kian Peng oversees the food processing, procurement and FMCG aspects of the business. He is also in charge of CSR for the group. Apart from providing 2000 meals a day to the underprivileged, Samui also co-founded The Social Pantry which is a platform that provides employment opportunities for persons with disabilities. Samsui won the President’s Award for Volunteerism and Philanthropy (Corporate – SME) in 2016.

Edward Chia is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Timbre Group. Edward co-founded the Timbre Group with the mission of developing the Singapore music scene through the talent cultivation of local musicians, and growing sustainable audiences for them. Today, the group has evolved into a holistic music lifestyle company with a diversified yet synergistic portfolio of businesses ranging from food and beverage, concert and festivals promotion and music education.

Edward is committed to community involvement and has served on committees and boards such as the National Arts Council, National Museum of Singapore, Action Community for Entrepreneurship and the Arts & Culture Strategic Review committee (People) reviewing strategies for attracting, developing, and retaining creative talent in Singapore. Concurrent to his professional capacity of managing the Timbre Group, He is currently a main steering committee member of the Committee for the Future Economy.

Tjin Lee is the Managing Director and Founder of Mercury Marketing & Communications, an award-winning agency specialising in fashion, lifestyle and luxury industries. She is also the Founder and Festival Director of the Singapore Fashion Week (previously Audi Fashion Festival) and boasts directorship in nine local businesses.

In 2014, Tjin co-founded CRIB, a Singapore-based social enterprise that aims to empower women to become successful entrepreneurs through networking, matchmaking and business incubation. It envisions a society where women, particularly mothers, are able to achieve work-life balance and where women entrepreneurs are part of a vibrant community with a robust support ecosystem, enabling them to create successful businesses, especially enterprises which create a social impact.
