The Chalk Circle[s] is an adaptation of Bertolt Brecht's Caucasian Chalk Circle （1944）, which was adapted from Li Qianfu's Yuan Dynasty drama The Chalk Circle.
The audience will be invited on a journey to experience the two different cultural and temporal vantage points with stage work adapted from these two world classics that are jointly performed by the Students of BA(Hons) in Theatre Arts.

The Chalk Circle[s] presents both Li Qianfu's Yuan Dynasty drama The Chalk Circle (in Mandarin) and Bertold Brecht's 1944 version of the play, Caucasian Chalk Circle (in English), in a bi-lingual adaptation of these two world classics, blended into one show.
