About Miniature Asian Chef

Juliana is a Singaporean miniature artist with a passion for creating tiny pieces of local food. She started Miniature Asian Chef in 2013 as a small business to sell her creations to miniature food collectors. She graduated with a degree in marketing, and currently works in the advertising industry. She learnt the craft through observation and online tutorials, and honed her skills through self-experiments and feedback from family, friends and customers. When she is not working, she is constantly dreaming of new methods to make the next project. Most of her creations are inspired by her daily life in Singapore. She works with various materials and tools ranging from polymer clay, air dry clay, paints and even a toilet brush! She also creates wearable food accessories such as earrings, necklaces and cufflinks. All of Miniature Asian Chef’s products are proudly designed and handmade by her in Singapore.

About the workshop

Learn how to make your own miniature kueh platter comprising of ang ku kuehs, kueh lapis sagu, ondeh ondeh and kueh dar dar! During the two and a half hour workshop, you will also learn the basic steps to using polymer clay to make miniature food. The kuehs will be displayed on a small wooden tray for you to bring home as a little display piece or fridge magnet.
