MyIoTC Week Penang: Smart Cities with IoT, will be a full week event with IoT (Internet of Things) relatedvseminars, workshops and end with 24-hour Hackathon based in Penang, focusing on “Smart Cities with IoT” theme. Seminars and workshops will be open to public and focus in IoT related topics. The Malaysia IoT Consortium is a group of companies consisting of:

The aim of the consortium is to at close the gaps currently faced in the market in designing, prototyping, manufacturing, promoting and marketing IoT solutions to the global market. As a private sector initiative, the consortium will take the lead representing the private sector to drive the IoT development and deployment with the relevant government agencies, to make Malaysia the IoT R&D, manufacturing, competency hub for the region.
