Malaysia: Are We Ready to Grow Old?

BACKGROUND

BACKGROUND

Global Shapers KL is embarking on a project called "BetterStreets 3.0", which aims to build a positive framework for conversations that can challenge stereotypes and prejudices of what it means to mature with age. This would also act as a catalyst to create awareness on the significance of closing the age gap in Malaysia. It has been reported that Malaysia will become an ageing nation by 2035, hence our aim is to create awareness of the issues faced by the ageing population in hopes of creating a catalyst for changes in policies and societal perception (Source: NST http://www.nst.com.my/news/2016/03/134562/malaysia-become-ageing-nation-2035)
