Dr Henry Toi is the Managing Director and Master Trainer of Brain Capital Group International. He graduated with honours in Civil Engineering from the National University of Singapore and a Masters of Education from the RMIT University in Melbourne. He also graduated with a Doctor of Business Administration from the Australian Institute of Business, Adelaide.
Henry obtained the Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment from the WDA. He has authored several books, his latest being the “Habits of S.U.C.C.E.S.S.” which is published in Singapore, India and Thailand. In terms of innovation, he created a psychometric tool called The Habits of Mind Assessment Scales (THOMAS) that is used internationally to assess thinking dispositions of adults and students both.
Henry is certified to deliver international programmes including ThinkBuzan’s Mind Map and GRASP courses, Memory, Speed Reading, Creativity, Habits of Mind, Multiple Intelligences Developmental Assessment Scales and Guerrilla Marketing. He was appointed as one of only four Master Trainers globally by Prof Tony Buzan in 2005 and was also appointed as affiliate director of the Institute for the Habits of Mind in the same year.
During his corporate career, he had served the Singapore Government (Monetary Authority of Singapore), Shell Petroleum, Standard Chartered Bank and the OCBC Asset Management, all in the area of finance and policy management. Henry carries out research in the field of thinking and presents regularly in international conferences in the area of critical and creative thinking.
