Born to Run @ Botanic Gardens

Running is one of the most frequently performed exercise but most people do it inefficiently. It is said by the founder of "Methode Naturelle" Georges Hebert to be the primary and most practical exercise of the natural human movements. We humans are one of the best endurance runners in the animal kingdom. Before spears and arrows, our ancestors used an ancient form of hunting called "endurance hunting" where they literally run down much faster but less enduring animals. We are all born to run. Learn to run efficiently (even barefoot) without injuries. Reclaim your birthright!

Each group class is an introduction to basic human movement skills such as crawling, balancing, running, climbing, lifting, carrying, catching, and throwing. Each class will focus on different skills to establish a solid foundation that will help you progress to more complex and intense applications.

Fee: S$30 per person. Discount if you bring friends. Bundled classes available ($25/class for 5 lessons; $20/class for 10 lessons).

Suggested attire: Comfortable workout clothes (that can get dirty). Wear leggings if you might get itchy from contact with the grass. Minimalist shoes (Vibram FF, Luna sandals, etc) if you have a pair or even better, barefoot.

Wet Weather: We will continue if the rain is light. We will postpone the full lesson or part of it if the rain is heavy or if there is lightning.

Miscellaneous: Bring snacks and plenty of water. Be prepared to be outside for the entire session (i.e. wear sunscreen, if necessary).
