MARKUS BIRDMAN (UK)
Markus is an original and highly talented stand up. He took his solo show, One Step Beyond to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2004 and has featured on BBC Radio's spanking new and is the voice of ITV's blank screen. He was nominated for the NZ Comedy Guild Award as Best International Artist 2014.
Starting in 2012, Brian Tan has, over the years of performing around the Malaysian comedy scene, developed a unique brand of comedy that sets him apart from most acts. Branded as a one-liner comedian, Brian’s stand-up comedy covers a wide range of topics and engages his audience using a combination of intelligence and self-deprecation. Brian has opened for internationally acclaimed comedian Paul Ogata.
Nik Coppin is a mixed race London-based international stand-up comedian. He has a confident, affable and energetic approach to comedy which is quick to build audience rapport and his versatility is such that he can easily switch from compering to opening and closing sets, and to doing solo shows. Nik has performed all over the world developing an international fan base through a variety of shows that he also produces. He is one of the few comedians to enjoy success on both the UK comedy circuit and at international festivals. He has performed at the Edinburgh and Adelaide Fringes, New Zealand and Melbourne International Comedy Festivals, all over Australia, and at the inaugural Hollywood Fringe Festival in Los Angeles.
