"Space 2.0: Disruption in the Space Industry and the implications for Mankind'" - Public Lecture

Description

Mr. Mark Dembitz, Business Development Manager at Spire Global Singapore Pte Limited, will discuss the increasingly important role satellites play in providing data to improve lives on Planet Earth.

He will discuss current and future uses of space technology, particularly in the context of "NanoSatellites," hand-held, self-contained small satellites. Not only are these satellites disrupting the space tech industry, they are also providing unprecedented access to space for citizens worldwide.

This event is jointly organized by BSE and Yale-NUS Science Society.
