The Inner Workings of a Blockchain
Introduced to the public in the beginning of 2009, the Bitcoin Blockchain has successfully proven that a decentralized currency is possible. At its core, it does only one thing, ordering messages chronologically and writing them on an immutable, open and distributed single ledger.
Mr. Leo Weese, who is an expert on Bitcoin, Information Security and Online Privacy, will explain with the example of Bitcoin, how a blockchain verifies and distributes messages and allows its participants to keep the database consistent, and what else could be done with it.
