About This Workshop
As technology changes and more media outlets compete for customers’ time, providing an enjoyable experience is critical to both attracting and keeping users. This class aims to demystify UX by giving a practical and simple introduction to what UX is while also explaining some of its core concepts of usability. This is a field that affects all areas of business — prepare to dip your toes into an ocean of new concepts and ideas that will enlighten your perspective on the human-computer interaction experience.

About the Instructor
Oliver Haas; UX + Product Designer; Cathay Pacific Airways
Ollie is an Austrian-Ugandan designer with a love affair for aviation. He currently works as a UX designer for the Cathay Pacific Airways Innovation Centre where he helps to develop new technologies, products and services that will shape the future of the airline. Previously, he co-founded a product design studio in Boston, USA and has worked for the design agency frog design. He has lived and worked in six different countries on five different continents.
