Usability testing is a technique used in user-centered interaction design to evaluate a product by testing it on users. As it involves direct feedback from the users, sometimes you might be able to find the missing piece in the puzzle. With companies and startups achieved great results through user testing, you're able to learn about it through our event this Saturday! We invited Alvin Chai from Netizen Testing to share you guys all about user testing, and how to utilize the data from it to supercharge your platform!

Speaker Profile

Alvin Chai leads the User Experience Testing & Research team at Netizen Experience. Since 2011, his team has been providing their expertise to companies such as AirAsia, Hong Leong Bank, Lazada, iProperty, and Singapore Government agencies in delivering user friendly experience through their websites and mobile apps. He also guest lecture on the same subjects at the National University of Singapore (NUS). By using both analytics software and conducting usability testing, he helps companies to practice user-centered design approach in understanding why people are leaving their website/apps and how to fix it.

He has been featured on The Edge, Yahoo, Digital News Asia, TechInAsia, e27, Business FM and Malaysia SME Business Newspaper for his work. As a recognition for work done by his team at Netizen Experience, they were presented with the People’s Choice Award for Global Innovation through Science & Technology during the Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2013, an initiative by the U.S. Department of State
