TEDxKL Adventure:Move, Makan, and Munch: Healthy Living in Malaysia
Malaysia: The multicultural land of sunshine, irresistible food and…unhealthy people? Malaysia is currently the fattest nation in Asia with the average Malaysian moving less but eating the same much-loved but (let’s admit it) often less-than-healthy food. Healthy lifestyle advice can seem difficult to implement and foreign to the Malaysian way of life – but that’s about to change.
TEDxKL, in partnership with Amazin’ Graze, wants to inspire you to live a healthy lifestyle – the Malaysian way. Join us for “Move, Makan, and Munch: Healthy Living in Malaysia”, a 2-hour interactive workshop in which you will learn about the benefits of yoga as a form of exercise, and how to eat well without completely giving up on the delicious local cuisine. As a bonus, you will also prove to your taste buds that healthy can also be yummy with a snack sampling featuring various Amazin’ Graze products.
Details for the workshop are as follows:
Date: 23rd July, 2016
Time: 9 am – 11 am (9am-10am: yoga class, please bring your own mat, 10am-11am nutrition workshop)
Venue: Impact Hub, D7 Jalan Sentul, Sentul, Kuala Lumpur 51100
Trainers: Amy Zheng and Anthea Pushparatnam
