The National Poetry Festival (NPF) offers a multilingual, multicultural, multi-generational platform for poets and poetry enthusiasts to appreciate the art of poetry in Singapore. It will run from 29th - 31st of July 2016 at the National Heritage Board’s National Museum, LASALLE College of the Arts with pre-NPF events at the National Library, NUS UTown, Singapore Botanic Gardens and Gardens by the Bay. The festival includes keynote addresses, workshops, a symposium and readings by both established and emerging poets.

NPF is in its second year! Featuring a commissioned film interpretation of Emeritus Professor Edwin Thumboo’s “Ward 77”, the opening ceremony will also celebrate NPF’s second year with poetry performances by Lee Tzu Pheng, Alfian Sa’at, Enoch Ng, Aqmal N and Elangovan. The Guest-Of-Honour for the evening is Minister Ong Ye Kung.


Registration begins from 5.15pm onwards.
