ART EXPLORERS Discover MIZUMA Gallery

Description
Embark on an in-depth perspective on appreciating art for families as we head into MIZUMA Gallery to uncover the issues running through THE GREAT EXHIBITION, a solo exhibition by internationally-renowned collaborative artists Ken + Julia Yonetani.

Local artist Iefa will bring you on a tour to explore the unique mediums and techniques to create artworks. We will examine the intentions and messages behind the artworks and explore choice of materials and subject matter of the whole exhibition.

A short demonstration of making a salt sculpture will be shared, followed by a stamp printing project. Parent and child will be using watercolour and salt techniques, foam sheets and various glow inks to create their own versions of 'Crystal Palace'. It's an exciting session of exploring contemporary uses for common materials and techniques!

Art Explorers is an initiative by Art Outreach to promote art appreciation and visual literacy in Singapore.
