Group Movement Improv
Creative and improvised movement can be a great tool for self-expression and personal development. An awareness of how the body moves, how each part of the body relates to other parts, and how one body may relate to another, is also important for any performer who wishes to convey a performance not only through text or voice but also through the whole body on stage.
As you improvise movements, you tune in to your personal sensations and nurture an intimate connection to your own bodies and body mechanics.
This workshop will provide some basic exercises in a safe and supportive environment. Participants will both work individually and in an ensemble setting. The workshop is suitable for anyone with a curiosity in movement, teamwork, and the performing arts.
Registration closes: 21 June 2016
