JUNE ALERT :

Bon Goût Music is really excited to have programmed a very rare combination of 3 powerful music figures in Singapore's music scene, and we are back at The Music Parlour!

Featuring one and only Idham Budiman aka BUDI, a notorious leader and a front man ofWicked Aura on the vocal with a veteran American Jazz saxophonist/award winning composer Shawn Letts adding some colours on the piano (yup. Come and experience this man's incredible talent!) and the only girl in the power three - the spice (wasabi?) provided by soulful Eriko Murakami, a killer trombonist of New Stream Brass Band, a leading group in budding New Orleans Brass Band scene here in Singapore.

Budi has carefully picked songs which are close to his heart : Bill Withers, Sinatra and more surprises from this man will await you. Jazz, soul, R&B, rock - you name it.

Message from Budi

"I am really honoured and excited to be a part of the Speaklow! Speakeasy Sessions, especially with the accompaniment of Shawn Letts and Eriko Murakami. The songs I've chosen to sing in this brief but exhilarating concert series are ones which are dear to me, songs that shaped my growing up years.

The piano and horn setup also influenced the night's setlist. It's going to be a lot of fun and a breath of fresh air for me, seeing that 90% of my musical endeavours and performances are with that band called Wicked Aura.

Let's just say it's quite a different kind of singing and performing, hence the relief and anticipation of this "quieter" stage setting with some master musicians. And of course seeing some familiar, some new, and altogether happy faces in the crowd. Thank you for having me and I hope to see you there, folks."

We are so grateful to have our events sponsored by amazing liquid brand of Jameson Whiskey. Yes, you get 1 Whisky drink on us. No, you're not missing this.
