Ramadan Dining Experience
During the blessed month of Ramadan, Muslims all over the world abstain from all food and drink during the daylight hours. Ramadan is much more than just not eating and drinking; it is a time to practice self-restraint and self-reflection. Fasting is seen as a way to cleanse the soul and have empathy for those in the world who are hungry and less fortunate.
When the sun sets, each day’s fast is broken with a meal known as “iftar.” Iftars are often celebrated with family and friends.
Visit Bussorah Street, Street Markets near Sultan Mosque & experience breaking fast with a Muslim family.
