We are pleased to invite you to a Masterclass on Design Thinking & Change Management, led by Professor Kevyn Yong, Academic Dean of ESSEC Asia-Pacific and Associate Professor of Management at ESSEC Business School.

ABSTRACT

Organizations with a strong culture of innovation understand the challenges of developing new ideas, solutions, and products while also managing the successful implementation of these innovations. Innovation requires finding original insight, skillfully translating them into testable prototypes, and carefully combining and refining the prototypes into a successful solution or product. Change requires tactfully aligning, and directing key stakeholders to adopt and implement these innovations.

ABOUT THE EXPERT

Prof. Kevyn Yong is the Academic Dean of ESSEC Asia-Pacific and Associate Professor of Management at ESSEC Business School. He has been recognised for teaching excellence, notably being awarded the Pedagogy Innovation Prize by the HEC Foundation and making the Dean’s Honor Roll at the S.C. Johnson School of Management at Cornell University.

Kevyn’s research focuses on creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership, particularly in the areas concerning cognition, collaboration, and social networks. His work has been published in the Journal of Econometrics, the Journal of Experimental Psychology: General, the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, and Small Group Research. He received his Ph.D. from the S.C. Johnson School of Management at Cornell University. He also holds a Masters degree in Mind, Brain, and Education from Harvard University. His research has been published in Management, Economics, and Psychology journals.
