The Improv Company Presents: 'XX/XY' by The Modern Schemers

Sat, 23 Apr 2016 | 8 - 9:30 pm
The Improv Company's venue at 62B South Bridge Road
(5 mins away from Clarke Quay MRT station)

$20 online (Limited to 25 seats. One soft drink or bottled water included.)

The Modern Schemers, The Improv Company's resident experimental improv team, are back with a show about gender and its depiction in the media.

As always, we’ll need your help in creating the show. You can submit an article of your choice on gender ahead of the show and we will include it as part of the suggestions. Once you've purchased the tickets online, we’ll get in touch to let you know how you can send in the articles/ blogposts.

If you don’t feel like sending in articles because you don’t believe in electronic communication, don’t worry. On the night of the show, a table will be set up with several women’s and men’s magazines; cut out the articles for our bulletin board, and we’ll incorporate them into our show.

Join us as we talk about gender, 15 ways to please your man (#4 is straight up misogyny), why a girlfriend that bites is a keeper, and why half the magazine is ads.

The show will have a seating limit of 25 audience members. Walk-ins won’t be possible if the show sells out. Get your tickets early!
