The Good Makers imparts youths with key skills to create social good initiatives, through experiential learning.
If you are a youth who wants to do something meaningful but never got started, or have an idea to serve your community but feel alone in it, we invite you to join our workshops! They cover key skills such as Info Gathering & Sense Making, Design Thinking, Presentation, Facilitation and Campaigning!

Let's Go Mapping workshop
Let's Go Mapping is back for a second run!
Have you ever wondered what’s happening in the many neighbourhoods of Singapore? In this complex world that we live in, how can we better understand ourselves and the diverse communities in our surroundings?
Join us as we explore and map one of the oldest estates in Singapore. Learn how to harness the power of mapping to tell stories of your community that could possibly lead to your own change initiatives!

Programme flow of the day:
Time: 9am - 2.30pm
Venue: *SCAPEmedia Hub
Workshop fee: $10

Programme flow of the workshop:
8.30 - 9.00am: Registration & Breakfast (Light refreshments will be provided)
9.00 - 10.00am: Sharing session & activities at *SCAPEmedia Hub
10.15 - 10.45am: Travel to Tiong Bahru (Transport will be provided)
10.45 - 12.15pm: Mapping exercise at Tiong Bahru
12.15 - 2.30pm: Lunch & Debrief at Tiong Bahru
What do you need to bring?
- Water bottle
- Notebook & pen
- Cap and umbrella (recommended)

About the facilitator: Sian Choo
Sian Choo spearheads The Good Makers Programme at *SCAPEnodes, where she designs skills building workshops to develop youths in contributing to society. Sian Choo is influenced by her late ah gong who used to run an association to help the less privileged community in Yishun. Surrounded by like-minded friends, Sian Choo believes in paying it forward to make our world a better place to live in.
She is currently volunteering as the Vice Chairperson of Nee Soon South Youth Executive Committee, where she enjoys serving the community with youths.
