Your fave nomadic film screening series is back! Come Reelak with us on Sunday, 27 March at Zhongshan Park for an evening of French film, a pop-up market, and unlimited good vibes.
Come down at 4pm to check out our fringe market (go to our Facebook page for details on which vendors will set up shop); the screening will start after sundown with an animated short courtesy of our partner Cartoons Underground, followed by the pièce de résistance, the César-winning La Famille Bélier.

We've heard it before. Young, unassuming musical prodigy gets plucked out of obscurity, enters a national singing competition, only to beat the odds and win. Everybody's happy. The end.
Think you got it figured out? Not quite. In the César-winning La Famille Bélier, our sixteen-year-old heroine Paula has the gift of song. When her music teacher discovers her talent, he encourages her to leave the family farm for Paris, where she will take part in a singing competition. But, a twist: Paula is indispensable to her parents and brother, all of whom are deaf. Leaving means exchanging her close-knit family life for a gift her family can never understand. What's a girl to do?
