The Impact of Tech on Children and their Future

Join us as we listen to Ayesha Khanna, CEO/Co-Founder, The Keys Academy deliberate on where careers of the future may lie: gone will be traditional job roles and fixed careers. Ayesha will discuss the future of skills in the "Hybrid Age". The talk will be followed by a networking session.

Ayesha Khanna is an expert on applied education and the future of skills. She has been published and quoted in the New York Times, BusinessWeek, TIME, Newsweek, Forbes, and Strategy+Business. She served on the Singapore Ministry of Education’s ASPIRE Steering Committee on higher education reform and applied learning. Ayesha has a BA (honors) in Economics from Harvard University, an MS in Operations Research from Columbia University and is completing her PhD in urban information infrastructures at The London School of Economics.

Ayesha has 2 kids, ages 6 and 4.

Teodora Pavkovic is a psychologist and psychotherapist who has lived in Singapore for over seven years. She recently joined The School of Positive Psychology as an adjunct lecturer, prior to which she spent almost 6 years working as a vision therapist with visually impaired children.

In her current role she runs workshops and delivers talks on topics of mental health and psychological well-being, in addition to which she works with clients in a one-on-one therapeutic setting. She has trained case workers at the IMH and students at SIM, and is currently running a children's workshop on emotional intelligence and mindfulness.

In her effort to educate people about psychological and emotional health and inspire them to achieve it, she started a Facebook page called "BeACKO&N" in 2015. The page serves as a curated collection of articles, blogs and visual media with which she aims to raise awareness, promote mental and emotional health and empower people to improve their quality of life.

Also joining the panel discussion is Melissa Nguyen, Country Head of SMB Sales, Google Vietnam.

Melissa has 20 years of experience across Tech and SME management, including over 10 years leading private-equity owned SMEs in the U.S. and Singapore as COO, CFO and Executive Director. In addition, she has held Sales/BizDev roles at a tech startup, Microsoft and Google; and currently serves as Country Manager for Google's SMB business in Vietnam. Melissa is currently raising two tech-savvy children, ages 6 and 7, together with her tech-savvy husband who is helping startups grow in the cloud with Amazon Web Services.
