Fancy spicy Sichuan cuisine and interested in meeting new Japanese friends?

Come and join us at Sichuan Night on Feb. 20!

Hello, I’m Eiko.

I run a rental kitchen called 20T (nijyuttsubo. http://20t.info/ ) near Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and organize an evening food event called “Language Night Special” on the 20th of every month. I pick one country at random and cook that country’s cuisine. People bring their own drink. We have one native speaker from that country who lives in Hiroshima to learn about the country, culture, language, etc. over dinner. I have about 10 Japanese natives who regularly attend the event. We already have five Japanese and one Korean to come beside this Peatix application.

This month guest speaker, Ri Jie, from Chongqing, China, will share her family's special recipe of Stir-fry of chicken and cashew nuts and egg and tomato soup, and tell us an interesting story about why Sichuan cuisine is so hot.

The scale of my event is not large, but I promise it'll be cozy, friendly and a relaxed atmosphere – perfect to make new Japanese friends.
