Architecture Workshop Series for Kids: The Sky is the Limit
Come join us to learn more about skyscrapers and architecture! It will be a fun hands-on exploration for children as they make use of their problem-solving skills and creativity to build 3D structure, come up with interesting designs and get exposed to architectural terms and concepts!
WORKSHOP 1: Supertall Skyscrapers 1
What is a skyscraper? Learn about the tallest buildings in the world! Children will get to work on their own skyscraper structure using sticks and glue gun. Come join us in this hands-on exercise to explore architecture concepts of structure and form. Take your child’s architectural imagination to greater heights!
WORKSHOP 2: Supertall Skyscrapers 2
What do we mean when we talk about the facade of a building? As we pick up a new architectural term, we also embark on another adventure. Children will continue to work on their own skyscraper models from last workshop to come up with the facade design and clad it with interesting facade treatment.
WORKSHOP 3: Skyline-fingerprint of a city
Skylines are said to be the fingerprints of a city because no two skylines are alike.
In this workshop, we will attempt to create a skyline artwork using pen and ink. The children will be exploring the element of line in art by making use of different types of lines and thickness of lines for graphical presentation.
