Zero to Robot Ready

November 7, 2015
NYC FIRST is partnering with the Center for K12 STEM Education at NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering to offer robust and accessible support to FTC teams.

Twice each month, from October through January, NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering students will come to a school in New York City or Long Island to teach programming, kit assembly, game strategy, and technical documentation.

Zero to Robot Ready is an outstanding learning opportunity for teams that continue to learn what to expect at the competition and what to expect from participation in the FIRST Tech Challenge. Develop the tools to come to competition with a moving robot, a strategy to share with other teams, and an engineering notebook to impress the judges.

Zero to Robot Ready attendance is strongly encouraged for any first or second-year team, student, or mentor. We also recommend attendance to any student or adult that can serve to become more comfortable with FTC.

Please note new time: The event will run from 9am-3pm instead of 10am-4pm.
