Over the past decade, Winston has been actively consulting in the fields of Franchising, Technology Transfer, Strategic Planning, Branding and Intellectual Property Management. His regional clientele span both consumer-oriented as well as industrial/technology industry sectors.
Previously, Winston was Asset Manager with one of Asia's largest real estate companies, where he was tasked to unlock the latent value of shopping malls. He was also Senior Assistant Director at the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS). At IPOS, he participated in IP policy making whilst keeping close tabs of ground issues by engaging public and private organisations on a regular basis.
Winston was one of the first consultants certified under the Singapore Government's Practicing Management Consultants (PMC) scheme and its IP Management specialist track. He is also a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE), a member of the Licensing Executive Society, and the first Singaporean to successfully complete the KIPO-WIPO-KAIST-KIPA Advanced International Certificate Course in Intellectual Property Rights in Seoul, Korea.
