Greetings from Penang!

Penang is now embarking on its accelerator programme - Accelerator for Creative, Analytics & Technology (@CAT) at Wisma Yeap Chor Ee, George Town aimed at promoting creative, analytics and technology start-up entrepreneurship.

This exciting new programme will provide assistance to emerging tech start-ups & entrepreneurs gain access to mentors, shared facilities, co-working space, professional assistance, and other value added services that will move them onto the fast track of success.

In conjunction to this, our brand new @CAT, Penang website will be launched which will serve as a go-to place for tech start-ups seeking acceleration and updates on related programmes, activities and networking events.

9.30 am : Address by Dato' Ng Wan Peng, COO of MDeC - "Paving the Path for IoT Startup Ecosystem - IoT Accelerator"
9.40 am : Address by Ms Cheryl Yeoh, CEO of MaGIC - "How Penang can fit into the Malaysian tech start-up scene and Programs"
9.50 am : Address by Mr Nazrin Hassan, CEO of Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd - "Current and Future Programmes for Malaysia's Tech Start-up Scene"
10.00 am : Introduction by Mr Chan Kee Siak, Founder & CEO of Exabytes on Founder Institute, Penang Chapter
10.10 am : Address by Mr Vin Lim, Community Manager of Google Developers Group George Town
10.15 am : End of Programme
10.30 am : GDG DevFest George Town 2015 (As seats are limited, registration is mandatory)
