This will be a panel discussion moderated by Oriana Leckert, the author of "Brooklyn Spaces: 50 Hubs of Culture & Creativity" and an enthusiast for everything Brooklyn with leading creators 1) Kweighbaye Kotee - Bushwick Film Festival, Founder & CEO 2) Katarina Hybenova - Bushwick Daily, Founder & Editor-In-Chief 3) Jessica Sirbu-Balnaves - Bushwick Food Cooperative, Manager & Events Coordinator 4) Jesus Gonzales -founding member of Make the Road, New York, the largest participatory social justice organization in New York 5) Chris Carew - previous owner of Shwick Market. The discussion will be followed by mingling & drinks with the TEDxBushwick community.
