Contesting the Contemporary is a three-day symposium that locates certain artistic and curatorial practices in Slovenia, Croatia, Southeast Asia and the Philippines. Participants from these different milieus come together to present how criticality locates positions in art histories and its manifestation on alternative organizational infrastructures. A talk on video and film archiving and screening from the archives of SCCA Lubljana and Mowelfund institute will also be presented.
