Join us at an orientation for the upcoming TEDxFukuoka 2015 event and learn about presentation skills and the TEDxFukuoka 2015 speaker audition.

We are currently looking for speakers, staff and partners/sponsors for the TEDx event. Let's share "ideas worth spreading" to make a wonderful community.

The presentation seminar will be about creating an effective story structure.

Lecturer: Sierra Arlidge, English teacher at Chikuzen High School. Certified TESOL/TESL/TEFL. Bachelor's Degree in anthropology from Willamette University.

Facilitator: Joe Okubo, TEDxFukuoka Curator/Speaker coach. He leads the speaker curation and presentation coaching all the speakers at the TEDxFukuoka conferences for the past three years. Joe also has a presentation coaching, including a preparatory lecture for the U.N. day social business contest at Kyushu University which one of his students won the grand prize.

Please prepare your ideas by brainstorming, mind-mapping or list making. Simple ideas are best.

内容は

英語プレゼンテーション講座

多くの方々がプレゼンテーションに苦手意識を持っていますが、ほんの少し気付くことで劇的に変えることができます。プレゼンスキルを上げるためのワークショップ3回シリーズの1回目です。毎回1つの要素にフォーカスして学びます。

構成について

ほとんどのTEDやTEDxのプレゼンは一般的に言われる起承転結ではありません。「どういう論理構成にすれば伝わりやすいのか？」ということを学びます。

※事前に下記の準備をしてメモ等の持参をお願いします。

箇条書きやマインドマップ等を作成し、自分のアイデアを探り掘り下げ、シンプルに短く絞り込むことを行ってきて下さい。
